Alexander Skarsgård and Ellen Page met on the set of The East last year and quickly became romance rumors a fact. But now Alex denies that he ever had it together with the actress.

"Ellen and I are just friends., If I really had it together with all the women that I paired with, I would never get out of bed," he said.

Alexander claims to have been single since he and actress Kate Bosworth broke up two years ago.
