Paradise Hotel-profile faces prison for assault!
Chris Mercado, 22, was one of the participants in this year's edition of Paradise Hotel, and he wrote on Facebook that he saw his participation in the program as an opportunity to get away from his violent past.
On Facebook, writes Chris that he wants to talk about what he's been through, so as not to be misinterpreted by the media. He goes on to say that he has previously been convicted of two violent crime - an assault in 2009 (which he looks guilty) and violent resistance in 2013 (an unnecessary incident with doormen involved).
The Chris Mercado now stands accused, and also faces prison for, happened in summer 2014, according to Chris himself so he acted in self-defense. It was a two against one situation and Chris says that the two people he hit was bigger than him and that he felt threatened and therefore reacted reflexive.
Whether Chris Mercado considered guilty or not is decided on December 23 - it can thus be a really heavy Christmas Paradise Hotel profile if things go badly.
