Within about a week, the Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow has gone from being appointed to the Most Hated Celebrity to win Peoples annual award that World Most Beautiful Woman.

Gwyneth herself is delighted to have scooped the price but says she is not so on glamorous as she hangs home. "In my home, I am always dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. I never make up on me. This is what my family is accustomed to," she revealed in the winner's interview
