Lindsay Lohan wins the award for the comeback!

Lindsay Lohan has received an award for the biggest comeback. The 28-year-old actress was honored with the prestigious Ischia Comeback Award at the Italian Film Festival Ischia Film Festival this week. 

The award recognizes that Lindsay Lohan has returned to the acting profession with her participation in the upcoming musical Speed-the-Plow, as well as a step in the right direction for the actress, who last year checked into rehab for substance abuse. 

Lindsay Lohan received the award of the Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis. "Thank you for someone as amazing as you are a friend of mine and someone I crave to work with., I am lucky to have you in my life," she said in her speech afterwards. Speed-the-Plow will premiere at the Playhouse Theatre in London in September.
