Yesterday One Direction played before a packed Friends Arena in Stockholm. The band, which was forty-five minutes late on stage, do not be stingy with the praise for the Swedish audience and also explained that the visit to Sweden is especially for them. 

"We met our first European fans here. They came to the studio, and we could not believe it was true," said Niall Horan. Liam Payne went on to explain that the Swedish songwriters Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk has been a big part of the band's international success. "This gig is special. This is where some of our songs will come." 

Harry Styles was probably the of the guys who was the evening's audience suitor, when he impressed both with speaking Swedish and expressed his love for traditional Swedish food. "Nice to meet you., You are beautiful," he told the audience. "I love meatballs., We love you," he added in Swedish.
